Dorothy Wilson

Funeral service for the late Dorothy Mae Wilson will be held 12:00 Noon on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at Christ Tabernacle Holiness Church in Johnsonville, SC. Interment will follow in the Christ Tabernacle Holiness Church Cemetery in Johnsonville, SC directed by Nesmith~Pinckney Funeral Home, Inc. Dorothy Mae Wilson was born on May 20, 1949 to late Mrs. Daisy Bell Porchea and Mr. Jeff Nesmith. On November 8th, 2012 the heavenly angles stopped by Georgetown Memorial Hospital and took her home. She was educated in the Florence County Schools. In 1962 Dorothy was united in Holy Wedlock to Willie Wilson. To this union four children were born. She went to Christ Tabernacle Holiness Church where she was baptized in Jesus name. She was the Secretary of The Board of Trustee, she sang on the choir; also a member of the Helping Hands, she faithful helped others when needed. Dorothy lived in Highpoint NC, until moving to Johnsonville to take care of her mother. She was employed at Johnsonville Manufacturing later she moved on to working at Hemingway Appeals. One child preceded her in death. She leaves cherish memories; her husband Willie Wilson of Johnsonville SC, two daughters Joyce Wilson of Laurinburg NC and Daphne Faye Wilson, one son Willies James Wilson of Johnsonville, SC; one brother, Joesph Lee Nesmith of Hemingway SC; eight sisters-in-laws; Viola Nesmith of Johnsonville SC, Joyce Nesmith of Rochester NY, Annie Bell Green , Anna Wilson, Mary Anna (Daniel) Wilson, Flora (Leroy) Hayes, Flora Anna (Larry) Bethea, and Maggie (Johnny Lee) Allen, three brother-in-laws, Eujene Wilson, Robert Wilson of Dillon SC, and Elder James Hanna of Lake City SC; one special cousin and dear friend Hessie ( Maddox Grayson) of Irvington NY, one special daughter-in law Loletta Jones (Leatha) VA, one special niece, Cythina Thomas (Penny), several grandchildren, one second generation of grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, cousins, and friends.
