Theodore “Larry” Cokley, son of the late Mr. Louris Edward “Doc” Cokley and Mrs. Mary Ceal Cokley was born on January 16th, 1960 in Williamsburg County. He departed this life on Saturday, November 26th, 2011 at MUSC in Charleston, SC. Larry received his education as a homebound student. He was called by many and was smarter than anyone with a college degree. He was also known as “ Mr. Fix It”. If he didn’t understand something, he would not be satisfied until he got the correct answer. He was a member of Hickory Hill Baptist Church where he was baptized at an early age and accepted Christ as his personal Savior. He worked on the Trustee board and was a member of the gospel choir. Larry worked faithfully in these capacities until his health began to fail. Many Sundays, he would press his way through church not feeling well. Larry was a fun, loving person to all he met in life and was ready to lend a helping hand to all in any way he could.
